Due to the pandemic, the annual masonic ‘changing of the guard’ that always occurs was not possible last year. So, 12 months later than expected, on Thursday September 30th 2021, the 74th Master of The Lodge of Dawn was installed.
Christian Leigh Mallory Higgins was installed into the Chair of King Solomon; the mantle being handed over by the now IPM, W Bro. Rob Phillips, in a ceremony attended by more than 50 brethren. W Bro. Ian Lewis, Assistant Provincial Grand Master was attending as a Provincial Ruler, and alongside him was his DC, W Bro. Ian Schofield PPDepGDC.
Following the ceremony, the brethren of the Lodge of Dawn, along with their guests, enjoyed a wonderful Festive Board, and a series of both poignant and entertaining speeches. And, as is the tradition, the new Master of the Lodge of Dawn was serenaded by the ‘Masters Song’.
