One of the best parts of Freemasonry is the camaraderie, the social side of things and simply getting together to enjoy each other’s company. Sadly this has not been possible for the duration of The Pandemic.
However, May 20th 2021 was an auspicious day as we finally were able to meet socially again! After more than a year, the first social outing for the brethren of The Lodge of Dawn happened. 24 brethren, on 4 tables of 6 (social distancing as per the current rules in play) met for an evening of Fish & Chips and good company.
Everyone commented on how wonderful it was to see everyone again !!
Worshipful Master, Rob Phillips, was able to say a few words, we enjoyed a toast to absent brethren and were able to wish Preceptor W Bro. Raymond Diamond a very happy birthday for the following day.
The social side is a key part of masonic life. You can read more about The Lodge of Dawn’s social activities here.
