Dog Walk and Picnic

16th June 2019 saw the inaugural joint Lodge of Dawn and Loyalty Lodge social event, expertly organised by W Bro. David Brazil, Master of Loyalty Lodge 4971 along with Lodge of Dawn Worshipful Master, Philip Myers.

Masons, their families (and dogs) enjoyed a beautiful riverside walk from Burnsall to Linton Falls in the Yorkshire Dales, followed by a picnic on a warm sunny Sunday afternoon. The camaraderie between Freemasons from our ‘Mother’ Lodge, Loyalty, and her ‘Daughter”‘, Dawn, was warm and friendly and a fantastic day was had by all, particularly the dogs who made new acquaintances and enjoyed a paddle in the river (the dogs, not their owners….!
